Troopster is seeking a reliable, motivated Fulfillment Employee to support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. This role is hands-on and mission-driven, focused on preparing care packages, organizing donations, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly.

This individual will be a key part of keeping Troopster operational, helping us meet shipping goals, prepare for packing days, and support the flow of supplies that ultimately go to deployed service members around the world.

Key Responsibilities

Fulfillment & Shipping

  • Pack and prepare personalized care packages for shipment according to order specifications and quality standards
  • Utilize online shipping software to purchase and print shipping labels
  • Support shipping, labeling, palletizing, and staging boxes
  • Drop off completed care packages at the post office
  • Troubleshoot shipping issues and order errors as they arise
  • Contact customers via phone and email to resolve order discrepancies

Inventory & Warehouse Operations

  • Organize, sort, and store inventory and donated goods
  • Assist with receiving deliveries and donations
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and conduct regular cycle counts
  • Manage and update the warehouse management system to track stock levels, orders, and shipments
  • Monitor supply levels and communicate warehouse needs
  • Place product orders to maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse

Planning & Coordination

  • Prepare work areas and materials for packing days and events
  • Help identify what is needed for upcoming workdays
  • Provide updates on warehouse status and priorities
  • Assist volunteers during packing days
  • Participate in monthly special events at off-site locations throughout Hampton Roads
  • Support seasonal pack events and high-volume fulfillment periods

General

  • Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, move boxes and supplies, and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and reaching
  • Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent organization and communication skills with ability to build relationships
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and similar applications
  • Reliable transportation (travel required)
  • Must pass a background check

Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications

  • Veteran or military spouse/family member
  • Prior experience or familiarity in warehouse operations, inventory management, or fulfillment, warehouse management or shipping software (Not required)
  • Positive attitude and interest in mission-based work

Position Type: Part-time (5-15 hours/week)

Compensation: $17/ starting
