RICHMOND, VA (November 21, 2024) - Honda of Sarasota, a full service automobile dealership located in Sarasota, Florida, partners with local veteran-operated nonprofit, Troopster® Military Care Packages, to support deployed troops during the holiday season. Since the campaign’s launch in June 2024, Honda of Sarasota has donated more than $14,500 to the nonprofit organization in a combined effort to impact service members abroad.

Through a “Buy One, Give One” campaign, Honda of Sarasota committed to donating a Troopster® care package, valued at $35 a pack, to a deployed U.S. service member for every car sold. Honda of Sarasota sells and services all makes and models, with a dedicated focus to the Honda brand.

With contributions from this campaign, as well as through similar partnerships, Troopster has been able to send more than 14,000 care packages to service members who are stationed or deployed across 22 countries.

Troopster provides a tailor-made service that supports deployed U.S. troops and the Armed Forces Community through personalized care packages that contain quality-of-life items that might not be available to service members in their deployed locations. Troopster partners with popular brands such as Dude Wipes, Duke Cannon, Black Rifle Coffee, and Righteous Felon Jerky to fill care packages with high-quality items.

The partnership between Honda of Sarasota and Troopster engages the local Sarasota community in supporting the military. Every vehicle purchase contributes to the initiative, amplifying its reach and impact far beyond the dealership.
